U10 Boys White (2010s)

The Boys U10 White team resumes league and State Cup play this weekend after a fun and successful tournament at the Palo Alto Tall Trees Tournament last weekend. Though they didn’t make the finals, the team stayed positive throughout the weekend and never gave up, regardless of the score. It was incredible to watch this resilient team battle back from being down 0-3 early and then come back to tie a strong East Bay team in the final seconds of their final match. Overall, the boys’ progress on the field has been palpable, their attitudes amazing, and their smiles contagious.  Hans Paladini, the boys’ trainer, has been steadily guiding their improvement each week while parent coaches, Tom Oliver and Ollie Weir, have been having a blast with this terrific group of kids. On Saturday, the boys head up to Napa for a league game and on Sunday they return to Town Park for their third State Cup game. We hope to see many of you out on the fields and wish all Corte Madera FC teams good luck this weekend!

U10 Boys Red (2010s)

Trained by Abe and led by parent coaches Mark Edelen and Cindy Winship, the U10 Boys’ Red team is really starting to hit its stride. To date, the boys have accumulated two tournament titles (Stanford Classic and Dublin Fall Classic) and have only lost two games all season. They are a balanced crew with strength in the attack and the defense. The team continues to focus on building from the back and playing possession soccer. The boys are looking forward to some stiff competition this weekend. Saturday, the boys’ face a solid Mill Valley team in league play and then will play a formidable Santa Rosa Atletico team for State Cup play on Sunday. Come cheer this skilled and energetic team on Sunday at noon at Town Park!
