Loni brings over a decade of experience in mentoring and developing athletes across all levels. With a USSF B license, she currently coaches top players in Region 1/2 as part of the Norcal Premier Player Development Program. Loni's coaching philosophy is to create a positive, growth-driven environment where players can develop both their technical and tactical skills, while also building a deep respect for the game.

Henry joined CMFC in 2022. His soccer development and love for the game started at an early age in Guatemala, playing on dirt courts with his cousins and friends. After moving to the United States, his development and learning of the game continued at Central Marin Select, West Marin Riot, and Marin FC (U14-U18). Henry then played at the collegiate level at Santa Rosa Junior College while completing his associate's degree in Natural Science at SRJC, before transferring to Humboldt State University. Henry is actively wrapping up his Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology at HSU. Henry plays at the NPL level with Marin County FC and is aspiring to move up the ladder in professional soccer.

Henry enjoys spending time with his family/loved ones, playing/watching soccer, working out, and enjoying what nature has to offer wherever he is. Henry also has a passion for yoga, Pilates, physical education, and how to move well through the human experience.

Ony is excited to share his love and passion for the game of soccer with our community of soccer players. He believes that instilling a philosophy in his players to be unselfish with the ball and brave gives them a foundation from which they can grow technically, mentally, and physically. Arsene Wenger is Ony's favorite coach and has inspired Ony in his own coaching experience.

Born and raised in Vallejo, California, Ony developed a love for the game that never stopped growing. He's been playing soccer since he was 7 years old. Ony played for Benicia Arsenal FC 93 (2004 to 2011) and Diablo FC 93 (tournament guest player 2008 and 2009), as well as varsity at Benicia High School Varsity from 2009 to 2012. After high school, Ony played for Feather River Community College in Quincy, California, then transferred to Chico State to pursue a degree in Electrical Engineering. During his time at Chico, Ony played for the Chico State Club team. He was previously the head coach for Walnut Creek Surf U14B and the Benicia High School freshman team.

Since Ony's favorite coach is Wenger, it's no surprise his favorite team is Arsenal (go Gunners!). Some of Ony's favorite soccer players growing up were Nwankwo Kanu, Thierry Henry, Cesc Fabregas, and Theo Walcott. Ony's favorite player now is Bukayo Saka, a left-back or midfielder for Arsenal and England's National Team. Saka is known for his attacking incisiveness and creativity, and he is often considered one of the best young football players in the world. When Ony is not playing soccer, you can find him swinging his clubs on the golf course. Ony completed his National D Coaching License in 2023.

Soccer has been a part of Jonathan's everyday life since about the age of 6, as he grew up watching his father play, and his earliest memories are being on a soccer field. He began playing competitive soccer at age 10 in Richmond, Calfornia, and eventually made the move to Mavericks Academy along with four years of varsity soccer at Kennedy and Richmond High School. As an adult, he played in San Francisco Premier League's Club Mezcala.

Jonathan has been coaching for 15 years and holds his USSF C license. He is also the head coach of the Pinole Valley High School girls varsity team.

Born in Colorado and raised in Washington, Teale made his way to California to attend the University of California at Berkeley. While at Cal, Teale played on the Varsity Men's Soccer team for four years and helped his team earn a berth in the NCAA Tournament in 1981.

Teale holds soccer coaching licenses from CYSA, USSF, and NSCAA (USC) and is also a licensed soccer referee. Always hungry to learn more, he travels regularly to soccer-loving countries with coaching delegations, and was recently in London, Paris and Brussels watching the World Cup unfold.

Teale has coached boys and girls teams for ACC Mavericks, ABSC, San Ramon Soccer Club, and East Bay United Bay Oaks. He was Head Coach for Saint Mary's College High School Boys' Soccer for 12 years and was Head Coach for Cal State University Maritime Academy for 8 years. He owns and runs Pacific Soccer Training, an inner-city youth soccer program serving mostly immigrant families for UC Village Recreation Programs at Cal.

Corte Madera FC welcomed Adilson Moura Damasceno in 2022. Coach Adilson started his career as a football player at the age of 12 on a team called Pequeninos do Jockey in São Paulo, Brazil. Adilson played his first competition playing against more than 30 teams and became the undefeated champion. At age 13, Adilson was integrated into the base category of São Paulo F.C. and then moved on to play with youth teams such as Palmeiras, Santos and Portuguesa.

In 1997, Adilson signed his first professional contract, having played for several renowned teams in Brazil. Unfortunately, in 2005, Adilson suffered an injury that ended his soccer career; however, this didn't deter him from staying involved with soccer, as he took his license to coach in the youth and professional categories. He became a coach and technical coordinator for the youth teams of Santos Futebol Clube, known in Brazil as a source of training of high-level athletes. World-famous players who came from the club include Neymar and Rodrygo, along with the legendary Pelé. In addition to coaching at Santos, Adilson played an important role in the formation of several athletes who currently play in great teams in Brazil, Europe and Asia.

Adilson holds his Grassroots License with US Soccer.

Marcelio Ramos joined Corte Madera FC in 2022. A native of Brazil, where he played bare feet on the streets as a little child, Marcelio grew up playing the game of Futsal in Brasilia. He moved to the United States in 1988, and since then has helped introduce Futsal in Northern California.

Coach Marcelio helped Frank Bonardi, our club's president, start the Futsal League in Marin. He represented Di Buffala Futsal in various local, regional, National, and even International Futsal Tournaments in Brazil, Belgium and Holland. He played in all the leagues around San Francisco (1st Division), Marin Mayflower, Liga Latina and Papy League. Marcelio continues to play in the Over 40/50 leagues both in Marin and Berkeley. You will find Coach Marcelio is still putting the ball in the back of the net!

Marcelio lives in Berkeley with his wife and 3 grown kids. He has coached TPSL and MVSC for 17 years, boys and girls, ages 10 - 19. He also coached his son's U14's Mavericks team at the NPL level, and continued coaching the team even after his son graduated. Marcelio's last team was the Mavericks 05 Boys, taking them from Silver to State Premier in just 4 years.

When Marcelio isn't playing soccer or coaching in Marin, you will find him running his Brazilian Summer Soccer Camp for kids in Berkeley or his Brazilian 8x8 Berkeley Soccer League for adults. Marcelio is happy to be back at the Town Park where he first played soccer in 1988.

Dan joined Corte Madera FC in the fall of 2024, though the roots of his soccer obsession can be found far away in the very homeland of the beautiful game.

For Dan — as for so many others from the UK — soccer always was, and always will be a way of life.

Dan's long and eclectic soccer journey started on the urban streets and parks of Southeast England, and took him through his high school's soccer program to the youth ranks of recent FA Vase winners Whistable Town FC.

Dan's path continued to Asia and the Middle East, where he coached and played alongside his role as an educator.

More recently, Dan has been schooled by legendary UEFA Pro License holder Ritchie Wilson and — under Ritchie — successfully completed modules on Coaching Essentials and Developing Talent for 9-12 year olds.

Dan is a passionate and analytical coach who places a great emphasis on balancing skill and competitive spirit, with humility and — ultimately — the enjoyment of the game.

Toni Sander joined Corte Madera FC in 2022. A Bay Area native, Toni started playing soccer in youth leagues at the age of 8 and went on to play high school, adult premiere league and semi-pro soccer with the SF Nighthawks (WPSL). She continues to play as much as possible to this day!

Prior to coaching, Toni was a social worker and worked with children and families for 10 years in the fields of adoption and mental health. She began doing team trainings in 1998 as a side passion, working with all ages of youth, from grade school to high school. After having her own children, Toni parted ways with the social work community and turned to coaching full time, combining her passion for soccer and love of working with children.

Toni is currently working through her Grassroots License coursework with US Soccer and plans to pursue her D license from there.

The players know him best as Martín, but in the soccer world, he is better known as Carlos Martín Vásquez. Born in Peru, Martín started playing soccer at a very young age. Martín started his professional career in 1993 and went on to play for 17 years, competing at the highest level in South America, until retirement in 2011.

In addition to his professional career, Martín played on Peru's National Team, competing in three Copa Americas. In the 1997 Copa America, Martín played in the final against Cruzeiro of Brazil (Cruzeiro Esporte Clube), losing 0-1. He played in one South American Cup and obtained 2nd place in South America. Martín says, "what a fantastic and unforgettable experience."

Irving Rafaela-Ventura joined Corte Madera FC in 2022. This Santa Rosa native, who lives with his young family in Sonoma, has had a distinguished soccer career, playing in college at both UC Irvine and University of San Francisco. He then played professionally with the San Jose Earthquakes and abroad.

Irving has coached at the elite level in Northern California and holds his USSF Grassroots (4v4, 7v7, 9v9, 11v11) and USSF D license. He is currently working on his USSF C license. Irving also has his United States Coaches Pre-National Diploma, is a part of the National Federation for High School Sports-Soccer, and has completed the Football Periodization for Professional Soccer Coaching course.
