After a Labor Day soccer break, it’s GO time for Corte Madera FC. This will be our first big weekend of league and State Cup play. We will be sending out the upcoming weekend’s Town Park schedule on Thursdays or Fridays via email. Additionally, we will be posting the weekly newsletter and photos on our website. Check it out!

As we head into the first big soccer weekend, we want to remind all of you how important each of you are to our club. Positive parent support is an integral part of your child’s athletic experience. Corte Madera FC could not exist without the time and energy of this amazing parent community. Please remember that how you carry yourself on the sideline and how you interact with your child around sports is impactful. Here are a few tips on how to be the best soccer parent you can be:

  • Be positive and supportive fans to your child and his/her teammates (NO coaching from the sidelines!)
  • Model good sportsmanship and trust that the kids, the coaches, and officials are doing their best
  • Strive to create community on your team
  • Realize that our kids are learning more than just soccer
  • Enjoy watching your child play!
